Get answers to common questions about Full Leg Waxing.
Most clients enjoy smooth legs for three to six weeks, depending on hair growth, hormones and aftercare. Regular appointments can extend time between sessions as regrowth becomes finer. Avoid shaving between appointments to maintain results.
Some sensitivity is normal, especially for first-time clients. Our technicians use warm wax, stretch techniques, and topical soothing products. Take over-the-counter pain relief if needed and exfoliate gently a few days after to ease discomfort and improve results.
Clean, dry skin free of lotions is ideal. Hair should be at least quarter-inch long. Exfoliate gently two to three days prior to prevent ingrown hairs, avoid sun exposure and certain medications that increase skin sensitivity.
Appointments usually last 30 to 60 minutes depending on hair density and additional services. Allow extra time for consultation and aftercare guidance, especially if you are new or requesting waxing of delicate or previously untreated areas.
Avoid hot baths, swimming, heavy workouts and sun exposure for 24 to 48 hours. Apply soothing gel, avoid fragranced products, exfoliate gently after 72 hours, and wear breathable fabrics to reduce irritation and prevent ingrown hairs.
Many pregnant clients can wax safely after the first trimester, but sensitivity may increase. Certain medications like retinoids or blood thinners contraindicate waxing. Disclose medications and pregnancy status during consultation so we can advise or modify treatment.
