Frequently Asked Questions

Get answers to common questions about Full Arm Waxing.

Most clients enjoy smooth arms for three to six weeks. Individual regrowth varies by hair growth cycles, hormones, and aftercare. Regular waxing can slow regrowth and reduce density; schedule appointments every four to six weeks for maintained results.

You may feel brief discomfort during removal, especially on sensitive areas near the wrist or shoulder. Exfoliating beforehand, avoiding caffeine, and ensuring hair is the right length reduces pain. Our estheticians use soothing techniques and aftercare to calm the skin immediately.

Avoid hot baths, sun exposure, and heavy sweating for 24–48 hours. Use gentle, fragrance-free moisturizers and avoid harsh exfoliants for two days. After 48 hours, gently exfoliate to prevent ingrown hairs and apply soothing lotions or aloe as needed.

Topical retinoids and strong acne treatments increase sensitivity and risk of skin damage. We recommend stopping retinoids or prescription exfoliants at least five to seven days before waxing and informing your esthetician about all skincare medications to ensure a safe treatment.

For optimal removal, hair should be about a quarter-inch long (approximately 6 mm), roughly the length of a grain of rice. Shorter hairs may not adhere, and longer hairs can be trimmed beforehand for comfort and a neater finish.

Yes. Avoid waxing over sunburn, open wounds, or recent chemical peels. If you’ve used oral isotretinoin within the last six to twelve months, have certain skin conditions, or take blood thinners, consult your doctor and inform our staff before booking.
