Get answers to common questions about Brazilian Waxing.
Hair should be about 1/4 to 1/2 inch long (approximately 6–12 mm) so the wax can grip effectively. If too short, waxing won’t work; if too long, we may trim slightly for comfort.
Yes — our Brazilian typically removes most or all pubic hair and includes the back side. You can specify preferences like leaving a strip or triangle; our technicians will confirm your desired style beforehand.
Some discomfort is normal, especially on the first appointment, but experienced technicians work quickly and gently. Breathing techniques, topical numbing options, and regular waxing reduce sensitivity over time.
Exfoliate gently 24–48 hours before and ensure hair length is adequate. Avoid tanning, heavy lotions or oils on the day of service. Over-the-counter pain relief 30–60 minutes prior can help if desired.
Avoid hot baths, saunas, heavy exercise and tight clothing for 24 hours. Use gentle cleansers and soothing aloe or recommended post-wax products. Exfoliate lightly after 48–72 hours to prevent ingrown hairs, as advised.
Pregnancy is generally safe, though sensitivity may increase; consult your provider if unsure. Certain medications like retinoids or acne drugs can contraindicate waxing — always disclose medications and health history during booking.
