Get answers to common questions about Microdermabrasion Only.

Most clients see improvement after a single session, but a series of four to six treatments spaced two to four weeks apart provides optimal, longer-lasting results. Your technician will recommend a personalized plan based on your skin condition and goals.

Clients with sensitive skin can often tolerate a gentle microdermabrasion, but we perform a skin assessment first. Treatment intensity is adjusted and aftercare is essential. If you have active rosacea, eczema, or open wounds, alternative treatments may be recommended.

Most people experience a mild, tolerable sensation—like light scratching or suction—but not severe pain. We customize pressure and technique for comfort. Brief redness or sensitivity can occur afterward and typically resolves within a day or two with proper care.

Microdermabrasion Only focuses solely on mechanical exfoliation to remove dead skin cells and stimulate renewal. Unlike chemical peels or multi-step facials, it’s non-invasive, quick, and specifically targets texture and superficial imperfections without added modalities.

Avoid strong topical treatments (retinoids, acids) for at least 3–5 days prior and limit sun exposure. Arrive with clean skin and inform your technician about medications or recent procedures to ensure a safe and effective treatment.

You may notice immediate brightness and smoother texture following treatment, with continued improvement over several days. Results typically last several weeks; maintenance sessions every 3–6 weeks help sustain improvements depending on skin type and lifestyle.
